Standard back-to-front tapered design grate for wood-burning fireplaces. Can be used indoor or outdoors. Welded Steel Fire Pit Grate are deep, taper from front to back and the legs allow optimum air flow around grate for a clean burn but can be raised or lowered for a slight charge. Standard duty grates are bar stock. All grates electrostatically finished with high heat, weather-resistant black paint. Char guard great option improves complete burn consistency and simplifies ash cleanup. Char guard is a heavy duty steel mesh fitted and welded to the underside of the grate.
