Used for overload and short-circuit protection of your electrical system. It's rated 240 Vac, 250 Amp maximum and can be used in bolt-on constructions. This breaker is compatible with Square D individual enclosures, metering devices, panelboards or switchboards that accept Q-Frame breakers. This breaker has a breaking capacity of 10kA 240-Volt operational voltage and is rated for 240 Vac (208Y/120 Vac for 3-pole 100 kA). It has a continuous current rating of 80 % and is a G breaker rating. This unit mount is a thermal-magnetic trip with a magnetic hold of 1200 Amp and a magnetic tripping current of 2400 Amp. This breaker complies to IEC, CSA and UL Listed standards.
